Pumpkin Spice Favorites + A Chia Pudding Recipe - Feasting on Fruit

I know, I know the words “pumpkin” and “spice” have been back to back way to many times already this month. But I’ve found a few pumpkin spice things that are just too good not to share with you before this season-long pumpkin party is over.

Pumpkin Spice Favorites + A Chia Pudding Recipe - Feasting on Fruit

This post of pumpkin spice picks has a little bit of everything from snacking to skincare to seeds! All with a pumpkin spice theme threading through.

Most of the show-and-tell and snack-making is in the video, it’s really the center of this post. I tried not to say “delicious”, “love”, or “you gotta try this” too many times, but you have to excuse my excitement. Watch first, then keep scrolling for links and why-I-loves and the recipe below…

Natural Delights Pecan Pumpkin Pie Spiced Date Rolls My first time trying date rolls and I think I have found a new snacking obsession. Chewy, crunchy, and the perfect amount of spice in this special fall variety. My tip: try them chilled for a slightly firmer, still chewy, perfect texture!

BeSolFul Organic Whipped Pumpkin Spice Body Butter Feels like a cloud. Smells like pumpkin spiced bliss. Makes my skin feel soft, nourished, and happy. And the moisture lasts too! Made by hand with the purest of ingredients by my amazing friend Mandy. I don’t think I can ever go back to lotion now.

Seeds.Pumpkin Spice Favorites + A Chia Pudding Recipe - Feasting on Fruit

Sprouted Seed Co. Black Raw Chia Seeds High quality chia seeds in convenient resealable packaging at a really great price. If you buy chia seeds as often as I do, then you will know that $10 for 2 pounds is something to be exited about! Plus I love supporting small companies, especially ones who really stand behind their products. Chia seeds are tiny but mighty, I eat them everyday, and this has become my go-to brand.

But let’s make them a little more pumpkin spiced…

Pumpkin Spice Favorites + A Chia Pudding Recipe - Feasting on Fruit

It’s not that I don’t love the texture of traditional chia seed pudding. It’s just that I love the texture of a silky chia seed pudding even more. Pumpkin Spice Chia Pudding made super creamy with my double-blending trick. Just 5 ingredients. Packed with fiber. Sweetened with fruit.

You’re the sweetest Leah <3 I know, I keep optimistically walking into the date section of the grocery store hoping they will make an appearance...but nope 🙁 That's why I broke down and ordered them. But you could just make some yourself, it'd be easy as (pumpkin) pie 🙂

I am obsessed with date rolls, but haven’t purchased them in forever because they don’t last long in our house…but I NEED to find these (I must try all things pumpkin-y)! Natalie, you seriously are the sweetest!! Thank you so much for the review, it makes me so happy to hear that you like the body butter. Lots of love to you, sweet friend! Willow and I just finished watching your video and I had to rewind it several times (willow’s demand) so she could see your dog! I thought it was SO wonderful to see your face!! And the color of the chia pudding looks delicious to me…maybe because it looks like almond or peanut butter ? We baked up the brûlée last night for a treat later today, but now I need to make this pudding!! Thank you, again, Natalie!! ❤️❤️❤️

I totally understand the obsession! Now that I know how good they are you better believe I’m going to have to try the non pumpkin spice ones too! I absolutely love the body butter, I do hope you make other scents (or just keep pumpkin spice year round, I’m fine with that too) because I will be needing more when this container is gone! I’ll have to make an entire Nolan video just for Willow 🙂 Enjoy the brûlée and thank you Mandy, you are the best <3 <3 <3

I LOVE your videos Natalie..they are so fun and entertaining my friend! I seriously love this post too….there is never enough of pumpkin spice! I just ordered Mandy’s lotion the other day and I cannot WAIT to get it! It looks dreamy, creamy and light. I will try not to eat it, haha! This pumpkin spice pudding looks insane too….love that you blended up the chia seeds because I think tradtional chia seed pudding is gross because of all the seeds, but this looks a million times better. I also love your fall photos…so pretty and warm!

Thank you Brandi, especially for your sweet words about the photos! I am so excited for you to try Mandy’s lotion, you will have to let me know what you think! I did actually take a little bit, and trust me your skin will like it more than you tongue, but if I could replicate that light fluffy texture in an edible form I absolutely would 😀 And I don’t even mind the chia texture, but it isn’t “pudding” to me, pudding is meant to be smooth and creamy. Definitely one of those recipes that makes me appreciate my high speed blender 🙂

Thanks Bianca, I hope you can find some date rolls! They are the perfect little snack 🙂 And the smooth chia pudding actually happened because I was trying to convince my mom to try chia seeds and I knew she would never even go near something with the chia texture. I still like both smooth and chia-y, there’s something about that funky texture that is just fun to eat!

Oh my goodness, all this pumpkin spice deliciousness — where to begin. I’ve been eyeing Mandy’s whipped butter too. I think you’ve convinced me 😉

About those rolls — I LOVE date rolls but have never seen pumpkin spiced ones here! And with pecans too — my favorite combo. Can’t wait to find some.

I’ve also been enjoying pumpkin chia pudding, but will have to try your magical double blending trick. Sounds interesting!

The date rolls are amazing, not that easy to find sadly :'( But I may have to recreate them at home, that should be easy enough! And double blend, girl, double blend! It’s awesome with chocolate chia pudding too 🙂

Some recipes are worth splurging on dairy-free whi Some recipes are worth splurging on dairy-free white chocolate and this is DEFINITELY one of them🤎🤍 That decadent chocolate + peanut butter + coconut middle 1000% deserves the creamy coating and sprinkle finish, trust me💗 Recipe below…

Vegan White Chocolate Valentine’s Truffles
-1 package @emmysorganics Dark Cacao Coconut Cookies
-1/4 cup (65g) almond or peanut butter
-1/3 cup (60g) dark chocolate chips, melted
-Pinch of salt
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-8oz vegan white chocolate.
-Optional: natural pink sprinkles + 1/4 cup more melted dark chocolate for topping

Melt the white chocolate. Pour a small spoonful into the bottom of each cavity of the mold, and tilt to coat the bottom and up the sides of each heart. Freeze. Set aside the remaining white chocolate. Melt the dark chocolate chips. In a food processor combine the Dark Cacao Coconut Cookies, almond/peanut butter, melted chocolate, salt, and vanilla. Process until smooth, it should be the consistency of a thick brownie batter. Place about 2 tsps of the chocolate mixture into each heart and press to flatten. Cover with remaining melted white chocolate. Chill until chocolate is set. Carefully remove from the molds. Optionally drizzle with more dark chocolate and top with sprinkles. Enjoy!

Its #nationalmedjooldateday 🥳🥳 I have wayyyy Its #nationalmedjooldateday 🥳🥳 I have wayyyyyy too many medjool recipes on the blog to mention, so I picked this friday-easy, highly-fudgy, personal fave: No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Cream Pie!

Four ingredient chocolate crumb crust. Three ingredient date-sweetened cream filling. Its truly TOO simple and TOO good❤️

Crust
-2 cups almonds (or nuts of choice)
-1/2 cup cocoa powder
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/4 cup coconut oil
Filling
-12oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
-3 cups non-dairy milk
-1 cup (10-12) pitted medjool dates (@ndmedjooldates are my favorite!)

Blend almonds, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the coconut oil. Blend until the texture is moist and crumbly. Press into the bottom of a pie pan and up the sides.

Blend the milk and dates on high until very smooth. Add melted chocolate and blend until combined. Pour into the crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate (creamier more like a pudding/mud pie) or freeze (firmer texture) overnight, or for at least 8 hours. Slice and enjoy!

Channeling sweet summer energy into this chilly wi Channeling sweet summer energy into this chilly winter week with a Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Bar closeup🍫❤️ Swap in any berry you love (big big fan of the tart raspberry tang though😋), but you need a bite of this lush dairy-free filling on top of @emmysorganics dark cacao cookie crust situation. Recipe below…

Crust
-1 package Emmy’s Organics Dark Cacao Cookies
-1/4 cup (30g) almond flour
-2 tbsp (50g) coconut oil
Filling
-2 cups (360g) raw cashews, soaked 3+ hours then drained
-1 cup (240g) full fat coconut milk
-1/3 cup (105g) maple syrup
-2 tbsp lemon juice
-1 tbsp lemon zest
-1 tsp vanilla extract
Swirl
-1 1/2 cup (180g) fresh raspberries
-2 tbsp coconut sugar
-1-2 tbsp water

Combine crust ingredients in a food processor. Process until cookies are broken down and mixture begins to clump together. Press firmly into the bottom of a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Blend the filling ingredients until very smooth and creamy. Pour on top of the crust. Combine berries, coconut sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes stirring frequently until it begins to thicken and become syrupy. Smash with a fork until the berries are mostly broken down. Spoon on top of the cheesecake mixture and use the back of a spoon to swirl. Freeze overnight. Slice into bars and enjoy. Keep leftovers in the freezer.

Is it even christmas time without a gingerbread cu Is it even christmas time without a gingerbread cutout cookie + sprinkles moment??🎄

This is my fave vegan and paleo recipe—super moist and tender with almond flour, heavy on the molasses, with a pop of lemon, and they’re oil-free!

Ingredients
-1/2 cup coconut sugar
-1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter)
-1/4 cup molasses
-1 tbsp lemon juice
-2 tsps ginger
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp cloves
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-2 cups almond flour (oat flour option linked in my bio!)

Whisk coconut sugar, almond butter, molasses, and lemon juice until combined. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix/knead to form a ball of dough. Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness between two pieces of wax paper. Chill dough flat for 30 minutes. Cutout cookies with a cookie cutter, then use a spatula to carefully transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes at 350F or until golden around the edges. You can re-roll/cut the excess dough. Cool completely. Decorate (I used melted coconut butter + matcha for the “glaze”) and enjoy!
